A variety of historical events have characterized Italian regions. Since the Middle Ages, Italy's north and south share a hidden culture: the myth of knights' heroic defeats represents the fight fir the Christian faith (against the Saracens) as a service to Emperor Charlemagne or for the love of the benevolant aegis, the mythical King Arthur.

This conference will highlight the various forms of the French, Palladian myth assumed thoughout history and across various regions and eras, with the aid of images and audiovisual documents. The conference is presented in Italian only.
